For internal reporting purposes we need a record of each dataset in the data repository to have an equivalent entry in the College's Symplectic Elements (SE) deployment. It is very important that these records contain metadata for related publications and awards.
Main question can we push a new record into SE when a deposit is made in the data repository (i.e. does it provide API access)? This seems preferable to having Symplectic pull/scrape from the data repository. Generally we need to understand the interfaces offered by SE.
Note that after a deposit is created we'll need to keep SE in sync with any edits made to the relevant metadata.
