cardano-testnet | Remove redundant functions used for starting a process

Description

Requires:

• Make workspace cleanup retry on failure input-output-hk/hedgehog-extras#74

Removes hedgehog-extras functions vendored in:

• Further cardano testnet cleanup #5494

while still maintaining error reporting functionality in case of node start failure.

Checklist
