after struggling with OS issue, I switched to a centos x86, still no luck
(sam) [root@copy-of-vm-ee-centos76-v1 sam_multi]# uname -a
Linux copy-of-vm-ee-centos76-v1.05 3.10.0-1127.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Mar 31 23:36:51 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Hi Jason, can you trace the line that segmentation fault occurs? By the way, are you using a virtual machine on mac?

there is no more information on the segmentation fault, seems no way to trace down.
I am using a VM on an x86,

Can you check if the segmentation is due to the import of ray (line 13-15)?
