Crashing Issue #45
Comments
This issue had been identified lately. You can check it out here: https://wiki.jaxcore.app/getting-started/faqs/performance-faqs |
You can also open the core menu using right click --> configure in core |
It has also been crashing for me. What actually crashes is Rainmeter, for some reason JaxCore seems to be overloading something and causing it to crash after a few minutes. Usually, if I do anything even just a bit heavy on processing it crashes, like watching a YouTube video, for instance. If I open up a game, it'll certainly crash. Rainmeter never crashes if I don't load Jax skins, and instead load Illustro default skins. Already tried reinstalling both Rainmeter and JaxCore, without success. I also share your love for JaxCore and your frustration with it causing Rainmeter to crash constantly. Is there some way I can debug it and send logs of the crash here? |
Try this fix https://wiki.jaxcore.app/getting-started/faqs/performance-faqs#what-should-i-do-if-jaxcore-crashes-randomly As for the crash that happens when you launch a game, it isn't actually a crash but instead an effect of game mode. JaxCore will launch back up once you quit the game. If you wish to not have this feature, turn off gamemode in jaxcore settings. |
Unfortunately it didn't work :/ BTW, I know what the game mode is, I literally meant crashing. Rainmeter + Jax Core crash more frequently if a game is running. |
Might want to try a full reinstall |
Hey there! I've been having a really annoying issue with Jaxcore. Once my computer turns on, sometimes Jaxcore doesn't even load even if I forcefully open it. Also, when it does load, after 30 minutes it crashes or somehow disappears taking away all the features, like Clocks, and such. When this happens, the Window Key does not function as it's supposed to. Don't get me wrong, Jaxcore has fantastic features. But, even the best companies are not perfect. If anyone knows the solution to this, please do let me know. Thank you.
Edit: If I open rainmeter it the features turn back on. But, I can't make, change, or delete any features without resetting my computer because Jaxcore won't open.
