We should host a deployment of the Pan3D viewer; it was suggested that we do so on trame.kitware.com. This deployment should be able to access a list of interesting datasets, which we can host on data.kitware.com. @aashish24 has volunteered to find the best datasets for this demo.

In recent discussions, we have considered the possibility of deploying with a Girder 5 architecture. This may include the large-image plugin to serve tiles of datasets. We can leverage the tile server to enhance the interactivity of the viewer and decrease dataset load times. One inspiration for this implementation is Lexcube, which uses a tile server to show the requested subsection of the data at the requested resolution. We will have to explore whether we will need to precompute the tiles or we can tile datasets on-demand.
