The GPhone comes with a whole bunch of features that are readily available for modders and creators to utilize in creating Apps and addons that support GPhone. The addon comes with the APP-framework and the GPnl and GPhone library. Anyone with knowledge of GLua and Derma will probably find the App structure familiar.
