For the question "What are the legal basis making the processing lawful?", it should have the possibility to get access to a list of values plus the ability to complete with a free text in order to give a justification.
Based on the article 6 of the GDPR, the list of values might be :
(a) Given consent
(b) Performance of a contract
(c) Compliance with a legal obligation
(d) Protect the vital interests
(e) Public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller
(f) Legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party
