We are excited to announce that the Export/Import Collection function now includes support for generic elements.
Previously, the Export/Import Collection function only supported basic elements such as samples and reactions. Due to the complexity of generic elements, their support was not initially included. However, as more users expressed interest in the possibility of Export/Import Collection supporting generic elements, we have expanded its capabilities to meet this demand.
In the upcoming release, users will be able to utilize the Export/Import Collection function to export/import collections that contain generic elements in the following scenarios:
Our next goal is to further expand these capabilities by supporting the export/import of collections containing generic elements across instances, even when the templates used are not created in the same instance or not sourced from the template hub. This is a challenging task, but we are committed to giving it our best effort!
We invite you to try out these new features on the test instance and we value your feedback.
