Faction War not progressing

Faction war started, I'd have to guess, about half a year into the game. Am in the middle of the second winter already and the bar has not moved at all:

Logs here, although I don't see anything specific about this mod.

Could be a weird interaction, but I haven't had any other problems with the mod thus far. Is there any way I can test this, try to isolate the problem? Could also just be a visual bug, but I don't remember how long faction wars last.

I got one of the events after another half a year in game:

It appears the feature is working, it is weird however that it took 1.5 years for anything to happen. Maybe could use a bit of balancing on the timers?
