I think that the pink is a bit too harsh for the sub count and I'd say it should stay as a small color accent like usual

Why not do a mix of 2nd and 3rd? Blue color for subscribe, grey for unsubscribe and sub count stays grey all the time?

Those were just mockups, I just used current accents so that It was faster to play around with colors and see differences.

I do like these mockups though. The only thing that gets lost is the flavor text like the current "x are enjoying Creators Update". Not sure if that's important to somehow include that?

I don't know they feel "empty" so to say, both parts looks very disconnected from each other. I honestly don't know how to improve this design, I like the concept itself but from what I've tried before I wasn't able to come up with anything interesting.

Rainbow six subreddit does something similar but it doesn't feel disconnected there

I think why it doesn't feel as disconnected is because it's encapsulated in a border. The border itself has the same color as the background making it look more flush and look like an extension than just floating somewhere.
