This is a little too difficult for me, and frankly speaking, I don't want to work hard on this.

The model selection is already available through ddfi2.py -model 2.3 [other args] for example.

Could you please consider compiling it on google colab to make it utilize google's nvidia gpu? That would reduce the interpolation time quite a ton

This is beyond my ability, sorry.
I would love to learn new things, but this project is more like a "proof of concept" thing, so the priority is lower, plus I have a nvidia gpu... it's gonna take a while.
