What is the expected behavior?

Thumbnails must also have navigation icons same as gallery is having.

What is the current behavior?

There is no way to implement navigation icons functionality with thumbnail section.

What are the steps to reproduce?

What is the use-case or motivation for changing an existing behavior?

It would be enhancement and more user specific.

Which versions are you using for the following packages?

Angular: 12.2.8
Angular CDK: 12.2.8
Angular CLI: 12.1.1
Typescript: 4.2.3
Gallery: 5.0.0
