Cannot edit files or change name in GoogleDrive folder

I created a file HEADER.txt in the GoogleDrive folder. Wanted to make it into a Markdown file. Had to go to Google Drive in order to change the name. Could not edit the content in neither NC or Google Drive. In NC the changes are not saved. In Google Drive I get an error "Authorisation required..."
