Firefox: Unhandled Rejection (SecurityError): The operation is insecure.

I'm getting the following error in Firefox, when I have my Firefox configured to delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed:

Unhandled Rejection (SecurityError): The operation is insecure.

And it originates when I run:

require('offline-plugin/runtime').install();

I'm using offline-plugin version: 5.0.7.
