Objective

Raspberry foundation is moving fast towards the support of their libcamera and the support for legacy camera framework will be soon abandoned - it is already deprecated and we get an annoying message when enabling it.

It would be interesting to move to the libcamera framework for the future

Initial Implementation Requirements

  • support libcamera in the boot configuration
  • check that the phal module supports the libcamera
