Support for Firefox Quantum (Firefox 57)

Hi,

Profilist doesn't work on Firefox 57. Please can you update the plugin or give pointers on what has to be updated so that I can help contributing.
After the update none of the plugins for switching profiles work anymore. I have no clue what exactly has changed.

Mozilla discontinued the support for

• bootstrapped extensions
• Embedded Web Extensions

As far as I know AddOn development this seems like a total rewrite of the AddOn with reusing the Business logic if possible.

I think it would be best to fire up a branch on that topic and get the addon ported to the new version step by step. @Noitidart needs to lead in this, I'm also happy to help if needed, please contact me.

#51 also has more info, but it basically seems like this is still a dead end. has anyone got a quick profile switching solution that doesn't involve having that annoying ProfileManager prompt at every restart?
