It would be nice if it can be selected to just download files themselves, not to download them with folders indicating the hierarchy and structure that moodle and moodown give. Sometimes users (like me) don't need all those folders really.

Sometimes I just want some slides...
And sometimes the slides is uploaded in a way that one topic (or should I call it one directory?) contains only one file... which is quite annoying, whether in terms of clicking those topics on moodle or opening the nested folders created by the download (which were created according to the topic hierarchy on moodle).
