I don’t think Discussions are activated for this repo, so I made an issue.

I think it is advisable to distinguish terminology between the single-diode equation (SDE, IV curve at one temperature and irradiance) vs. the single-diode model (SDM, IV curves at multiple temperatures and irradiances).

Compare to this layout in pvlib:

Also, I think “auxiliary equations” is the standard terminology for the equations that take temperature and irradiance and the SDM parameters to the SDE parameters. (This is a functional relationship in many common cases.)

Also, don’t forget that more general SDE models May add “non-ideal” behaviors for V<0 and/or V>Voc.
