Spells not choosable from character creation bar

Hi there,

I just tried to create a character using the tool. When I come to the step to choose spells for a shugenja, the box above the symbols labeled "Leran Spells" is working, but not the mask, which opens by clicking.
The "Next" button in the lower right of this window is greyed out, regardless which spell I choose from the list.

Choosing the spells from the library works, but are not counted for the spells I get from the school.

Clicking on the Minus to Remove spells leads the apllication to shut down.

I'm operating on Windows 11 Pro, 22H2
