[BUG]: Parappa the Rapper 2 crashes randomly on M1 Mac #11996
Comments
This game is highly sensitive to VIF1 timing. Have you tried delay VIF1 stalls? Or messing with the clock speed? |
No, not yet. I will try that. |
For delay VIF1 stalls, right click the game, click properties, then game fixes. For the clock speed, click settings, then emulation. |
Thanks. |
None of these solutions fixed the problem. |
@cheeseface40 Can you share a savestate on that level? |
Can you try launching PCSX2 with |
I couldn't get it to crash with that option enabled for some reason. |
Describe the Bug
Parappa the Rapper 2 crashes the entire emulator at seemingly random times on an M1 Macbook Air. The crash report notes section says "PC register does not match crashing frame", if that helps. The game runs at a consistent 60fps otherwise, so I'm not sure what's causing this. Whenever the crash happens, i am on Stage 6 and i go to the 'Bad' rating.
