URL: https://pyconth.netlify.com/

Overview

Purpose of this handbook is to work as a space for collaborative editing:

  • to manage PyCon working groups;
  • for initial internal development of proposals and plans, that may not yet be ready to be shared publicly;
  • to keep all current active member/s on track with roles and responsibilities; to arrive at an internal consensus before taking an official position; and
  • to serve as a guidance for all participating members involved in the event.

How to use

PyConTH members are free to use resources from this repository as they see fit during their course duty as a member of the organising team as guidance. Other PyCon organisers are welcome to use provided they follow the usage terms outlined in the Creative Commons License 4.0 included in this repository.

You are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format (except files that specifically requires discretion and confidentiality.)
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Therefore, if you are using resource/s from this repository for a similar PyCon event, you will need to include in the slide stack a link back to this repository including any author information uploaded with the resource.

Editing or adding resources

To add a resource to the repository:

  1. Locate the matching topic directory If there isn't a topic directory, you can create one.

  2. Create a directory that will house your resources in the topic directory. Your resource directory could include:

    • Any articulating resources (e.g. white papers if needed)
    • Slides
  • Make a PR with all the information above titling the PR "Adding to " The PyConTH team will review and merge in!
