There are users out there (not me included) that have a small display in their case, on which they can display cpu, gpu, ram usage, voltages and so on. Aida64 has a separate screen which can be fully customized and made to fit your own requirements(I added an example). If these users use Fancontrol, they still would have to run Aida64 besides it to use their separate display since Fancontrol as it is now doesn't scale for a small 720 or 1080 screen.
Now don't get me wrong, I like the layout of the app as it is. But for cases like described above a separate configurable screen with scalable graphs, gauges and the option to input text like in Aida64 would be great.
What I would like to have for myself is something like what I have in Raspbian, on my desktop it displays cpu, ram usage etc(as you can see the added picture). There is no background, so the text and graphs are directly on top of the desktop wallpaper. This looks great, I would love to have some graphs and gauges there for cpu voltage, usage, temps, fan speeds on my main pc (windows 10). Would be awesome if you could give us users the option to do this, so we could then start creating templates. Perhaps less skilled users could download some free templates from other users or paid ones that look really nice.
If you make a transparent overlay, it would also be usable in games since users could then define for themselves how much of the screen it may use, so it doesn't get in the way. An option to either display it on top of everything, or just on the desktop would be nice. I wouldn't want to see it while browsing or watching a video.
EDIT: I found out I can also do this with rainmeter, but it's hard to configure since I'm not good with code.
