Fans Run at Full Speed After Closing FanControl #2863

When restarting, shutting down or starting up the PC the fans are set to 100% until FanControl starts. The same (bug?) appears when closing it. I have a Gigabyte aorus motherboard, and different sets of fans (lian li and noctua and previously deepcool). after turning off startup with OS, and shutting down then starting up the issue doesn't appear at all.

I'm experiencing the same issue.
Have to close FanControl when starting BF5 or BF2042 to avoid triggering the AntiCheat of a library used by FanControl.

However, when opening and closing FanControl a few times, eventually the fans run at normal speed and not at 100%.
