Describe the bug
When I start my computer, HWInfo starts up then Fan controller, The sensors load then I get an error saying "HWInfo failed and was stopped. Refresh (CTRL+R) to attempt to restart it."
I hit refresh and get the error again. I confirm HWInfo is still running in the background correctly.
I have tried closing Fan controller, Closing HWInfo. Relaunching HWInfo then opening Fan Controller again and still get the same error. Sometimes that fixes it other times it does not.
I also almost always get an error from my motherboard reporting my chipset fan speed. Not sure if that is related to HWInfo or the motherboard.
Is there a log.txt file next to FanControl.exe with recent date entries? fancontrol_log.txt
