Hello i really like your youtube videos but i can only get to video 7 or 8 before things don't match due to new updates and different codes are used. what should i do

The issue you are referring to is regarding the deprecated map api. I think Sim has addressed it in a future video. Video number 17 I think. Just check the comment section of the video which implements outdated api. You can get a the correct video number.
