This causes lots of user distress and therefore high support load

Syncing was working (10% overnight) but its been 20 days since I started the sync and it is still not synced. I too get the Timed out errors. Very frustrating.

What hardware are you using?

What hardware are you using?

RPi 4B 8GB with Sandisk 128GB high endurance SD card. Starlink internet but my starlink speeds are great (~200 Mbps).

Would you mind coming into one of our support channels to diagnose further? We'll need to see your logs, but keep in mind that due to a bug in the healthchecks, it is entirely possible that there isn't actually a problem with Bitcoin. The logs will confirm/deny this.

BTC Core is 99.76% synced so I will just let it finish. Let my other comments stay so that anyone else encountering time out issues will see that they are not alone.

These errors should at least be more accurate following OS release v040, and we can potentially message to users on low powered hardware that they will experience worse performance during an IBD.
