We either do this or we extract the feedback from the website monorepo. Otherwise we get in a weird state of having a few apps located somewhere, this app living outside, without any pattern/standards.

And my vote goes for putting this inside the developer website monorepo, just to keep things consistent. eg: how would someone in the community contribute to this service if it does not get the same visibility as the website monorepo?

just my opinion but I could be convinced otherwise :)
