NWS has modeling data (poly geom?) for inundation as described by Dr. David Maidment at Richard's moderated session at the Water For Texas Conference.
Should use the fireman's suggestions (from the same session) about symbolizing for common folk by symbolizing the flood inundation poly's the same colors as the flood stages.
