I've set up the package locally and when I first added it, it asked me to sign up at tail.sh. If I deploy this app, I'll get asked to sign in at tail.sh again right? I don't want that window showing up on my users' computers. How can I do the tail.sh set up without online users seeing it?

Yea it will only display once, and save a record to your mongo collection. So when you deploy it it will do this too, once you do it you shouldn't have to worry about it again (including updates)
If you want to bypass the pop up, do the set up locally and import the 'tail_settings' collection up, then deploy it and the pop up will not display at all.
