I have found that clicking for audio/english does not work for some sites, two places I have noticed this on are,
github.com
community.wanikani.com

Hovering over the words does still show the english word.

Can confirm this is the case with github.com do to a script conflict as shown via the error below. Will keep a eye on it here.

Refused to execute inline event handler because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src github.githubassets.com". Either the 'unsafe-inline' keyword, a hash ('sha256-...'), or a nonce ('nonce-...') is required to enable inline execution.
