4 game is fully fleshed with basic ai, sound, death animation, freeroam-ability, and a story to go with it
4 for the code, includes a lot of OOP and is very complex and lengthly
1 the project shows an entertaining game and provides insight into how the code functions

  • OOP

HOOK:
Points: 4
Reason:

  • Really intricate, self-made sprites that have smooth animation, both an animated playing character and non-playing character monsters

KNOWLEDGE:
Points: 3.7
Reason: pretty functional game, just no OOP involved hence lack of knowledge displayed.

VALUE:
Points: 3.9
Reason: They had a clearly well-developed game and learned a lot over the process of coding and creating their game. Had a lot of completed moving parts even if not integrated.

WOW FACTOR:
Reason: Really impressive complete with custom sprites, sounds, and different game functions unique to their project only.

USAGE OF:

HOOK:
Points: 4.0
Reason: Very Impressive visuals that they made themselves, an interesting game with multiple parts, and several blogs w/ different aspects.

KNOWLEDGE:
Points: 3.9
Reason: Good explanations and very advanced techniques. The one problem is they did not have very organized OOP, or none at all.

VALUE:
Points: 1.0
Reason: One of the best games in the class, most features, best visuals.

WOW FACTOR: 1.0
Reason: I was super impressed by the visuals and the gameplay of the game, they have a lot going for them.

Average Score: 8.55/9
-- I think, one of the teams gave us a score of 11.6 so we did their score out of 12
