Home Assistant Community Add-on: evcc
EVCC is an extensible EV Charge Controller with PV integration implemented in Go.
The installation of this add-on is pretty straightforward and not different in comparison to installing any other Home Assistant add-on.
- Add a new add-on repository in the menu and point it to https://github.com/cathiele/hassio-addons
- Search for the "evcc" add-on in the Supervisor add-on store.
- Install the "evcc" add-on.
- Add your evcc configuration file to /config/evcc.yaml
- Start the "evcc" add-on.
- Check the logs of the "evcc" to see if everything went well.
- Open the Web UI.
Note: Remember to restart the add-on when the configuration is changed.
Configuration is read from an evcc standard configuration file. It is currently hard coded to be found at
/config/evcc.yaml
in your Home Assistant installation.
You can find documentation about the configuration format and sample configurations at evcc
