(Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, Turbowarp version 1.12.3) Turbowarp stalls at a blank screen for a while until it opens

followed the steps to install turbowarp using https://desktop.turbowarp.org/ using apt

if you open a terminal and run turbowarp-desktop we might be able to see more details

terminal does not output anything while in the black screen after typing turbowarp-desktop and pressing enter
and after the black screen:

MESA-INTEL: warning: cannot initialize blitter engine makes it seem like there is something wrong with the graphics driver situation on your system. Wouldn't be surprised if Chromium is trying to enable hardware acceleration and then gives up after it crashes a few times.

I don't really think this is our bug but here's some ideas for working around it

• desktop settings > turn off hardware acceleration
• since you are on Ubuntu, try the Snap version (Ubuntu is the only distribution where using the Snap is a reasonable idea)
• you could try the flatpak version instead
• try the latest beta from https://github.com/TurboWarp/desktop/releases; it's possibly that just updating Electron fixes this

I use the beta, now I can't use the stable versions, and I think it solves the problem.
