We want to have a better typing system for @macrostrat/vite-plugin-hyperstyles.

That could involve:

  • creating *.d.ts files for each compiled style
  • somehow transforming to typescript and then compiling to javascript

We could use the approaches of typed-css-modules and/or vite-plugin-typed-css-modules to do this.
