It might be nice to have the ability to add more than one countdown 'timer-group' You could enable or disable these with tick boxes (like you have currently for the durations within the timer-group). It would be best if you could configure each timer-group's timer durations to different values, and show a different numer of duration options per timer-group.
I don't know how many people would have a use for this tbh, but I thought of a few situations where it might be handy, for example:
3-min DET dep sep and 100-sec wake sep at EGLL
RECAT-EU and ICAO wake seps when you're top-down EGLL and another airport
Departure seps for multiple airports when you're top-down
MDI push intervals for different SIDs
Longer-term things like a 30-min radar check
It would be best if you could set a name for each timer, so you could have like "EGGW Deps" and "EGSS Deps" or whatever. This could maybe be optional, so if you only have one timer-group displaying you don't waste screen space with a name when you know what it represents.
I don't know whether idividually-positionable 'timer-groups' would be best, or just one combined 'timer-group-block' you can reposition with a single click and drag.
I noticed you mentioned adding a min or sec option to the countdown timers in a different issue. Perhaps if you do so, the min/sec preference could be set per timer-group (so for instance your 'Check North' timer-group uses mins, and your 'Departure Separation' timer-group uses secs). Perhaps the time left for the timer could display as secs when it goes sub-minute? Or if all timers were in the [[[m]m:][s]]s format, that wouldn't matter. But mins is just a "nice-to-have" for people who are bad at dividing and moding by 60 haha.
Even more nice-to-have (approaching fantasy territory really), and probably rather niche: automatic MDI push and dep timers. So say you've got a 3-min MDI on LAMs, and a 2-min MDI on NOVMAs; when you change the ground STS of an aircraft on one of these SIDs to 'PUSH' the relevant push timer starts itself. When you set it to DEPA, the relevant departure timer starts itself. ADIs could 'add' the ADI value to the remaining timer when it goes to DEPA. This would probably be more effort to add since it would need more settings options and linking to the STS and all that. And I guess UKCP should maybe leave something for the controller to actually do more than 'connect, turn UKCP on, sit back and watch it do it all' anyway haha.
