There is no information whatsoever.

I've tried to run the code with mix run:

Compiling 15 files (.ex)

== Compilation error in file lib/elixir_mpd_client/application.ex ==
** (SyntaxError) lib/elixir_mpd_client/application.ex:15: syntax error before: '{'
    (elixir) lib/kernel/parallel_compiler.ex:198: anonymous fn/4 in Kernel.ParallelCompiler.spawn_workers/6

I'm using Elixir 1.6.5.
