Linking Bugs sometimes causes exceptions (due to threading?)

Well... first it was the "accessing a collection while its being mutated",
but now that's gone away and very occasionally (just once so far), I get
something like an EXT_13_STOP signal, which an exception that I didn't take
note of. Maybe we'll never see it again now that I deleted the app data
and restarted, but I wanted to make a note for it in case it happened again.
