Cursor goes to wrong place while correcting typing mistake

When I try to add a currency or ERC20 token, on the search bar, type a name, i.e.: MRK (as a typing mistake) and I try to correct the typo.
After deleting the R, the cursor goes back to before M.
Normal behaviour would be to keep the cursor in between M & K in this case.
