Doesn't work on mobile at all

The VanillaJS web3 modal doesn't work at all on mobile, I tested with multiple browsers and multiple wallet provides, none of them seem to work.

How to reproduce:

• Open https://web3modal.github.io/web3modal-vanilla-js-example/ on mobile phone (I used iPhone 12 Mini)
• Click on Connect wallet
• Select rainbow or metamask
• authenticate within Rainbow/Metamask
• It redirects you back to the browser, but doesn't connect the wallet
