🟠 WordPress Hosting Team event
Tomorrow we will have the first meeting about the WordPress Hosting Team event.
If you want to participate, it will be at tomorrow 2023-12-07 1000 UTC / 1100 CET at Google Meet with Lucas and Javier.
🟠 Focused Hosting Channels
After last meetings, we will probably ask for one new channel focused on the Team organization (administrative work) like preparing these meetings, or having conversation about team things.
The idea is having a new channel called #hosting-team.
🟠 Reducing the meetings (team meetings)
There is a proposal on the table to have only 2 meetings per month. Something like:
We don't have so much news to have 2 weekly meetings. The focus is to work more asynchronously.
But, there will be an exception. Each new major version, we will have a meeting the next day around 0900 UTC, probably with the WordPress N.N PHP Compatibility post related.
🟠 Increasing the meetings (office hours)
Same as we are working on reducing the weekly meetings, the focus for this 2024 is to increase the work on Documentation and Tools, and support for Hosting providers.
We will propose a calendar for those meetings.
