A nice addition for usability would be to have a progress indicator for when large amounts of files are being scanned. Even something as simple as "X/Y Files Scanned - Z% Complete" would be decent.
A further enhancement to this would be a "time elapsed/estimated time remaining" counter.

Usability Enhancement - Progress Bar or Indicator when scanning directories of files
Progress Bar or Indicator when scanning directories of files

I like this, especially if you're scanning a load of files.
My only concern is making this the default. If there was an option, maybe -p that scans the directory tree first to count the number of files, then that would work.
Another concern is that, with 1 file, and lots of input parameters, this would stay at 0% for ages then suddenly jump to 100%. But with lots of files it would give you a good indication of progress.
btw... sqlmap doesn't have a progress bar, maybe this would be a differentiating factor.
