How it works

This project have two parts:

1. Frontend
2. Hosting

It will need an account in Google to connect it to the Firebase for Hosting.

Pre-requisites

Before you begin, you will need to have the following tools installed on your machine: [Git] (https://git-scm.com). In addition, it is good to have an editor to work with the code like [VSCode] (https://code.visualstudio.com/)

Running the web application

# Clone this repository
$ git clone https://github.com/Yola21/Cat-Paradise.git

# Go to your local repository:
$ cd [local repository]

# Check package.json file and ensure scripts are notated as below:

$ "scripts": {
    "start": "react-scripts start",
    "build": "react-scripts build",
    "test": "react-scripts test",
    "eject": "react-scripts eject"
  },
  
# Delete the node_modules folder and any 'lock' files such as 
yarn.lock or package-lock.json (if present).

# Install dependencies
$ npm install

# Run the application
$ npm start
