Avoid using "localhost" for default identity #68
Comments
FYI - I've discovered that this is "solved" by using Rainloop ;) |
I have the same problem on the latest roundcube_ynh release |
Can someone please help here? Thank you. |
@GitBaer For what it's worth i followed a previous commenter's suggestion to use Rainloop mail client instead, and have been very happy so far. |

Thanks for packaging this!
When I create a new user and they login, their identity prompt is shown and they should change "localhost" to "myemaildomain.org". Sometimes they don't do that and then my SMTP setup gives complaints and can't send mail.
I have tried to edit the
/var/www/roundcube/config/...
files to changemail_domain
and other settings from the standardlocalhost
but they all seem to break the configuration and I can't send mail again. So, I am wondering if somebody knows how we can solve this?
I think the default identity should be correctly preset.
