How can this be extended, or how to access the underlying text view to do the following:

  1. handle command-f to find text
  2. having found text, highlight those strings in the body

On iOS or macOS? Those might be slightly different. It might be sufficient to have the proper find menu item in the app, actually.

MacOS ... I have added the typical command-F to bring up search dialog - but how to access the textview underneath the code editor, if needed, to highlight all the hits to the search text
