I've got a feature request for the organizer coming from our teaching staff. They would like to have a setting that allows them to force students to book the next free slot instead of choosing any free slot.
The reasoning behind this is better time management. It happens regulary that during consulting hours empty slots are mixed with booked slots resulting in inefficient time management. Professors as well as student tutors taking care of student requests then end up with "empty" time.
This feature request has come several times now from different faculties, for example computer science and architecture. So it seems to be a more widespread issue and not limited to one special scenario.

Hi Harald,
that would be a useful feature for the users but also quite a challenge for the developer.
Actually too large to develop it for the old organizer which should be replaced by the totally new coded organizer by summer 2025.
I put this on the feature list for the new organizer.
BR,
Thomas
