Currently when using this form you can only enter one element at a time. They would like to have flexibility in this form in such a way that they could enter multiple elements at once, Tmin , Tmax and Rain as they have this on one sheet.

Some of them preferred using the form as it is now, so we should provide this flexibility.

@shadrackkibet I get the point here. But since the Key Entry Form for Daily data is unique for RR, TMax ,TMin, etc, and data are normally entered by element, it is good to enter one element at time and then go to the next element, with sequencer, this work well. I think we can discuss further on this but from my experience the best way is to enter a column of data and once you are done, you go to the next, etc.

Hi @mhabimana This was an interesting and rich discussion we had with the data entry clerks. Some of them were seeing this option as a way of reducing the data entry errors. There are a number of advantages that they pointed out. They recognized that it may be potentially slightly slower but felt that they could be checking some of the other QC issues as they go along in particular the difference between tmin and tmax which was a problem they were having to go back to the sheets to correct. Some of them argued that if they could enter the months data for the three elements at the same time they could do these checks immediately and hence improve the data quality.
I think there is no harm in creating such a form and then allowing them to test it to see whether it leads to good results.
