Gnome 45 support?

I came across this thread in EndeavourOS forums which talks about some changes to Javascipt engine used in Gnome 45. As a result they expect most extensions to "break".

Will you be updating this extension for Gnome 45?

According to this blog post it seems that an extension will not be able to support both older versions (<=44) and newer versions (>=45) at the same time. I quote:

You can still support more than one GNOME version, but you will have to upload different versions to extensions.gnome.org for pre- and post-45 support.

I have read the migration guide and applied the changes. But it seems the "Activities" button has completely changed in Gnome 45 and this extension needs a rewrite, which currently I'm not able to do.
