Time match between sentinel and rest of dataset

We currently have monthly modis data, landcover that's effectively time-independent and sentinel2 data from various different dates. When we create an intersection dataset this should lead to all sentinel images within the same month being matched to modis for that month and the corresponding landcover–we should check if this is indeed what happens and whether it's necessary/preferable to roll sentinel up to monthly values.
