I don't know if this is a issue with me being a idiot or something else but when I choose a custom crosshair and colour it white, for some reason when in game the crosshair opacity level is incredibly low, I can barely see it, it is there but barely visible.
So then I decide to remove the crosshair using the installer and decide to go into the files of the HUD,
open hudlayout.res, find the "KnucklesCrosses" section and change the visible and enabled to 1. I then choose the specified crosshair which is "p" in the KnucklesCrosses.png, afterwhich I change the size etc etc, but I don't see a colour option, now I presume its "fgcolor" so I type "255 255 255 255", which makes the crosshair white successfully, but WHY oh WHY does it change to black once I damage an enemy, and the only way to turn it back to white is doing a hud reload, but after I do more damage it changes back to black, why is this happening and how can I use a custom crosshair without the crosshair opacity level at 5 and having the crosshair stay white while I do damage to enemy players.
Thanks
