set noerrorbells cannot disable sound

tested on chromium and firefox, set noerrorbells has no effect.

Same here ! Because of this issue, the only way I could get rid of the sound was by lowering the volume:

" exrc for wasavi
set noerrorbells
set bellvolume=1

Just to be clear, that does not entirely disable the bell, which is what was asked.

I am definitely appreciative that it is quieter, but I would still prefer not to hear it at all
